Enova Systems supplies drive systems and other components for electric, hybrid-electric and fuel cell powered vehicles. The company recently confirmed that it will supply production level parts to Th!nk Group, including a Power Control Unit (PCU) for use in the Th!nk EV. The Th!nk City EV, with a battery technology which permits a driving range of 180 km, is scheduled for launch into the Norwegian market this year (Th!nk recently raised $28.5 million to roll out production). The Enova PCU converts and regulates high voltage power to lower voltage, transfers power throughout the drive system and also assists in energy recovery during regenerative braking. Enova reported revenues of $1.54 m in the first quarter of this year, up from $0.31 in the comparable period of last year. The company reported a net loss of $1.2 m.
