The Premier Renewable Energy Fund began trading on 4 February on AIM.

January/February 2008. © Cleantech Investor Ltd. 2008 Premier Renewable Energy is an investment company with a mandate to provide financing for companies which generate power from renewable energy sources, or which will be beneficiaries of the growth in renewable energy. Premier has adopted a broad definition of renewable energy, which includes areas such as waste recycling and services companies.

The investment manager is Premier Asset Management (PAM), a Guernsey based company which has over £1.8 billion of funds under management. PAM has experience in the sector as the manager of Renewable Energy Generation Ltd.
