Green energy trade body Scottish Renewables will hold a major conference in Aberdeen on November 6 focusing on the steps that need to be taken to deliver the first wave of commercial marine energy devices in the UK.

Scottish Government director-general (environment) Richard Wakeford will deliver the keynote speech at the event, which takes place at the Aberdeen Marriott Hotel in Dyce. Other speakers include Richard Yemm, founder of Pelamis Wave Power. There will also be an exhibition with a full range of technologies and suppliers on show at the event.
