| Landon invests in Fotowatio |

Copyright Cleantech Investor Ltd. 2008 General Electric (GE) Energy Financial and family office Landon have invested €225 million in renewable energy business Fotowatio. The Spanish company is currently developing 960MW of solar projects in Spain, Italy and the US. It has invested over €400 million in the promotion and development of photovoltaic farms in Spain and expects to make €2.5 billion of additional investments by 2012. Qualitas Venture Capital is an existing investor in Fotowatio and, following the transaction, the shareholding structure will see Qualitas holding a 33.5% stake, while GE and Landon will have 32% and 17.5% shares respectively and the management team the remainder. |
