Cleantech Venture Forum Linz Austria - 29 Sept 2008 PDF Print E-mail

Build Value-Creating Relationships with Cleantech leading Experts, Entrepreneurs and Investors

The Cleantech Venture Forum constitutes the first pan-European stand-alone match-making event in the field of clean technologies – organised by Europe Unlimited. Since 1998 the company has successfully established the European Tech Investment Forum (17 editions) focusing on information and communication technologies and the Biotech & Finance Forum (13 editions) focusing on life-sciences. Today the technological proliferation together with rising energy costs and tougher environmental regulation is bringing about an ever-increasing number of capital-seeking Young Innovative Companies (YIC) active in clean-technology. They are actively improving incumbent technologies and innovate in areas ranging from offshore energy generation via storage devices to second generation biofuels.

As in information and communication technologies (ICT) and life-sciences (LS), dynamic cleantech entrepreneurs dedicate their lives to the laboratory, market research and to their technologies. But with the sleeves rolled up and attention focused on the day-to-day running of their Young Innovative Company, strategic and enterprisecritical issues like raising capital and attracting experienced management in order to take the company to the next level are often neglected and/or difficult to achieve.

That is where Europe Unlimited brings in its extensive network of seasoned, active and specialised venture capitalists, corporations and advisors. We introduce entrepreneurs to potential strategic partners, experts and investors.
