Italian asset management firm EstCapital has started fundraising for RealEnergy, the country´s foremost fund investing in photovoltaic and alternative energy sources under a closed-end structure.
The fund is part of a portfolio of new infrastructure investment and real estate vehicles managed by EstCapital and should be fully operational this month (September). The vehicle´s initial target is €250,000.

Spanish energy player Gamesa has divested its solar power arm Gamesa Solar to US private equity firm First Reserve Corporation for around EUR 250m.
