Investment bank Marubeni has recently joined the group of investors backing tidal power technology developer Pulse Generation. The Japanese backer is contributing in a group investment of £580,000.

Barclays Ventures has invested over £10 million in a pair of solar energy players in a buy-in management buyout deal (BIMBO).
