German solar company Odersun has received a €61 million financing round to build its second factory. The financing was led by Virgin Green Fund, with participation from PCG Clean Energy & Technology Fund and AGF Private Equity. Existing investors, Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures and Advanced Technology & Materials, have also joined the pool of backers.

Investor: Platina Finance

Disposed: Mistral en Beauce, Ferme Eolienne La Remise des Bruyeres

Platina Finance has sold a pair of businesses which own windfarms to industrial player Poweo and the Dutch Infrastructure Fund. The two companies are Mistral en Beauce, with a generating capacity of 24MW, and Ferme Eolienne La Remise des Bruyeres, which can produce 12MW.

Sofinnova Partners led fellow VC houses Capricorn Cleantech Fund and Galia Gestion in a financing round for Neosens. The funding is worth €2.5 million and previous backers ICSO Private Equity and IRDI have also joined the pool of investors in the latest round.
