The Scottish Government is offering a prize of £10 million for innovation in marine renewable energy. The Saltire Prize is named after the white ‘saltire’ cross on the flag of Scotland. The prize committee includes Terry Garcia, the National Geographic Society's Head of Global Missions and Scotland's Chief Scientific Adviser Professor Anne Glover.
